A scheduling line for tutors, instructors and trainers
You're mid-lesson. Parents call to rearrange, and you end up juggling schedules by text at 10pm.
What a call sounds like
Hi, you've reached Jordan's assistant. How can I help?
I need to move Thursday's lesson.
No problem — I have Tuesday at 4 or Wednesday at 5.
Tuesday at 4.
Moved. I'll text you the new time.
Rescheduling happens without you, and nobody double-books you.
Setting it up
Connect your calendar and turn on Book appointments so it offers your real free slots. Add your rates and cancellation policy to Knowledge.
Everything above is configured in the app under Settings › Your Agent. Your assistant uses what you tell it on every call — so the more it knows about tutor, instructor, or trainer work, the fewer calls come back to you.
Why not just give out your own number?
Because you can't take it back. A second line is a number you can hand out freely, hang up on, and release if it ever attracts the wrong attention — while your personal number stays with the people who already have it.

Pick a number, tell your assistant what you know, and hand it out.
