A work phone number for freelancers and side hustles
You've got a day job. You can't answer client calls at your desk, and you'd rather clients didn't have your personal number anyway.
What a call sounds like
Thanks for calling. Jordan's not available right now — what's this about?
A new project, website build, starting next month.
Got it. Rough budget and timeline, so Jordan can come back prepared?
Around eight thousand, live by June.
Noted. You'll hear back this evening.
A professional front door that doesn't ring during your day job.
Setting it up
Set hours to evenings and weekends. Outside them the assistant explains you'll come back to them, and takes everything down.
Everything above is configured in the app under Settings › Your Agent. Your assistant uses what you tell it on every call — so the more it knows about freelancer or side hustle work, the fewer calls come back to you.
Why not just give out your own number?
Because you can't take it back. A second line is a number you can hand out freely, hang up on, and release if it ever attracts the wrong attention — while your personal number stays with the people who already have it.

Pick a number, tell your assistant what you know, and hand it out.
